I wonder if people understand that the mint starts making next year's coins as early as September. They put them in inventory and hold them for release. They do not keep track of when they were struck. Think about it - there are coins available right after News Years Day. The employees don't come in after their New Year party and start striking coins.
Glad I went to the link. When I saw “Advanced Release”, I thought it was a creative way of saying “end of the run”. Kind of like when my daughter says I’m ‘mature’ instead of calling me old.
