    Was gonna post these the other day but I figured I'd wait until that old 1917 RickieB posted died down. LOL. The $1 is in rugged shape but I got it cheap. It will work as I'll use it to trade my way up in condition. I've already got my eye on 1 so hopefully work picks up a little more and I'll be able to get it.The $.25 note is kinda cool. I like the way these are hand numbered. Thanks for looking, John

    One of the interesteing things about the Alabama fractional note is the fact that all the notes on the same sheet were given the same number. The difference being identified by the letter that appears in the upper right. At one time I owned two notes from the same sheet (A and B) but sold them a few years back.

    Thanks De Orc,I do like them too.I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can find you a couple. Lettow, Thank you for the info. Now I'll have something to look for if I see anymore Alabama notes. I learn something new on this site all the time. Thanks again guys. John

    Very nice
    My interest in unusual paper is increasing these days, all the colorful foreign notes you folks post are beautiful, and these early American's are historically awesome !!
