Addition to my 50000 cents

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Richard Murphy, Nov 25, 2018.

  1. this is one of the coins I forgot to mention in my previous post. A 2007 D with a die break cud on the Memorial. Question is it called a die break or a cud and is it an error or variety? Found it listed on Coneca also. Still new at this so any of your expert opinions would be appreciated. Thanks 2007D cud.jpg 2007D cud.jpg 2007D cud.jpg 2007D obv.jpg 2007D rev.jpg

That's a die chip. A CUD extends from the edge of the coin and goes inward.
Your particular die chip is also known as a "Hornet's Nest".
