So I have been mulling this over for a while and figured that I would bounce it off all of you. I recently decided to narrow my collecting interests to GSA Peace dollars, which, to my benefit I suppose, not a whole heck of a lot of people are aware of. The ones that are and also collect them seem few and far between. I like it that way. Now that NGC has been grading them for a year they will be adding the coins to the Registry and their census. Now for my dilemma. Do you think that being added to the registry and opening up competitive collecting will make these already scarce coins harder to find and drive up the price?
I was thinking though - since NGC announced they would be grading them and adding them back in April 07, the coins are still around. Wouldnt people have gobbled them up already if they were going to?
