Caught the boss in a good mood today and ended up buying 12 coins for $60. Managed to add two more dates to my Barber quarter collection as well as picking up another 97-O. $5 a coin average was a good price. Here's the list. 1917-D Lincoln F12 1935 Lincoln Blazer (got a scan that does not do it justice) 1929 Buffalo Nickel XF 1914-D Barber Dime F12 1945-S Micro S Mercury Dime F12 1895-O Barber Quarter G+ (pictured) 1897-O Barber Quarter G4 1915-D Barber Quarter VG 1927-D Standing Liberty Quarter G4 1928 Standing Liberty Quarter F15 1934 Washington Quarter AU 1935 Washington Quarter XF A few pics. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0005-9.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0006-9.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0007-11.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0008-11.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0009-10.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0011-7.jpg Pretty good day.
Looked up that Lincoln, that appears to be a $20/$25 coin if in GEM (which it appears to be by the pics to me). So, you did good!!! :thumb: Phoenix
It's not an S but is indeed a blazer. 64 bid is $12, 65 $24. I actually paid $10 for the coin but averaged out the whole lot. Hence the $5 per coin. I will most likely sell a few of these coins but will keep the Barbers, SLQ and perhaps that Lincoln. If I make a few bucks I pay less for what I really want. Free would be even nicer.
