Actual value of a 1971-s "Peg Leg" Ike?

The "Strike it Rich with Pocket Change" book (is it really not a good reference tool? Is it because the info in it is all already on the internet?) says that this coin is worth $20 in XF, $30 AU, and $75 UNC.

    1) are those numbers realistic?
    2) What about a proof coin?
    3) is my 71-s a Peg Leg?

    Thanks.

Yes. Your coin is a PegLeg

    BUT

It's the proof PegLeg which represents about 1/4 of the total production.
There is NO premium associated with the PegLeg proof.

However, virtually ALL of the rare Doubled Die Varieties, both Obverse and Reverse, are on the PegLeg obverse dies.

Please post a close up of the Motto on the Obverse and the word AMERICA on the Reverse. These are both tell tale locations for identifying doubled dies on the Proof Eisenhower Dollar.

Are these photos clear enough and zoomed in enough?

Yes. I am not seeing any of the profitable Doubled Die Indicators on either the obverse or reverse.
