Here's a coin called a Pitis from the Sultanate of Acheh in Sumatra, part of current day Indonesia datable to around the early 1700's ad. Minted in tin at Dar es Salam (or so I believe).
Aceh (as it is correctly spelled was independent right up until 1902,when the Dutch incorporated Aceh into the Netherlands Indies. Aidan.
