Anybody have a recommendation for an accurate coin scale? As usually, I'd like to find an awesome scale for a miniscule price.

$9 scales are fine. Just make sure you have a calibrated test wieght to ocasionally reaffirm the accuracy.

I have one already but that looks like a nice scale at a great price. Thanks Thad.

Yeah, after you get those scales, you may need to buy a calibration weight, if you don't already have one.

If you need a scale with a cover on it like I did, this one is really top notch!! Best to read the reviews on that one up there, I'm just sayin'! First couple of reviews really dog that scale, it may be one of those hit and miss scales=like you may get a really good one and you may get sucker punched with a piece of sheet!! You decide...

Oh nevermind, who needs instructions?! :D

I found that 1/10 g wasn't enough resolution. I wanted milligram resolution, but I've found that .01 g is usually adequate.

a simple way to calibrate - a nickel weighs 5 grams - exactly.

Unless your nickel is a fake. ;)

good point - better watch for that - that is, unless you have a fake scale too, then it still might work. :)
