Met up with Magman and Acanthite today for a show in Mesa. We have a local dealer who attributes bust, seated and barber coinage pretty good. I watched Acanthite ( Brad ) go cherry this guy for an overdate Barber dime, then on to another dealer for another RPD or RPM, I can't remember. Acanthite, cherrypicking the cherrypickers, lol.
I will second that. The brief time I spent with him in Long Beach he was picking. Stuff so small that he had to tell me exactly where to look to be honest. A VERY keen eye.
It was good to meet Magman, who showed us some sweet coins he has found from circulation. We had a mini-CT reunion, which took place in a biker bar. I did find a few varieties. I will post them when I get a chance to take photos.
Mag, we kept going last night, we sat at the bar at Applebees drinking Michelob Ambers, talking coins. I took a cab home.
