My father collected postcards and drawings and had these two printed fanciful illustrations of Turkey's Sultan Abdul Hamid II with harem girls superimposed over the Sultan's portrait. The illustrations appear to be from the 1870's or 1880's. Abdul Hamid II (AD 1842-1918) was the Sultan of Turkey (the Ottoman Empire) from 1876 to 1909 when he was deposed by the "Young Turks". He had 13 wives.
