OK, I sent off most of the missing edge inscription washington dollars I had to be slabbed. I normally don't slab coins, but this is one where if I ever went to sell them, authenticity could be questioned. Here's one that I got back. I did not label any of the coins I submitted as having a die crack. According to ANACS, this one has a die crack. For the life of me, I cannot find a die crack on this coin. I uploaded pics of the coin. Any help in finding the die crack would be appreciated. If anyone needs me to focus on a particular area of the coin, I can scan it and upload it. Also strange from ANACS is they slabbed one of the error coins in the traditional white slab instead of the clear plastic holder. The clear plastic holder doesn't give the best view of the edge, but it does allow you to see that it is blank.
dude, it's summer. During school you could still find a post from me becuase I have a computer class and I normally finish early.
Is that rhetoric as in "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? e.g. "the die crack is in the eye of the holder (as in the person holding the coin or the holder that contains the coin?)?
Lol, it looks to me like its right above his forehead, or it is above the statue of liberty's hat thingy.
I don't see it. That is quite odd. Actually, I think the small white holder thing is odd too, unless it is a problem coin (cleaned/sratched/etc.)
I dont see a die crack but I think that I do see a clash as seen where I circled. It almost looks like an extra spike ?
Sorry for making this short, and I thank everyone for looking. I've checked all the spots people have mentioned here and none of them are raised. With all the marks on this coin, I'm not sure how it got graded an MS-65.
