I recently began collecting currency. Started with CSA, then I was talking to a dealer friend of mine who was telling me about National Bank Notes. He told me an interesting way to collect them is try to collect all demoniations from your home state with your name in the National Banks name. Example....If your name is Ray and your from Iowa, try to collect a set of NBN from the 1st National Bank of Ray, Iowa. I thought this was pretty cool but its hard to find National banks named "Joe". I'm From Missouri and got as close as I could by picking up the following bill. Some of you may already know this, but I just thought it was a cool way to collect currency. BTW its a 1929 $5 NBN from "The Burnes National Bank of St. Joseph Missouri" Type 2 Pretty low serial I think, too.
