An incomplete planchet with a curved clip on a Washington Quarter. It’s dated 1962-D and judging by the wear, this coin circulated until a nice person pulled it from circulation. I purchased this recently but from an individual as part of a collection that was just in a cigar box. All denominations and grades just rattling in the wooden box. Now it’s all mine!
