During my trip to Denmark last weekend I had only half an hour time to take a look at this magnificent museum.
I headed straight to the ancients section and for those of you who haven´t been to Copenhagen or missed this place I took some portraits of the marble Caesars and their consorts. Here are some of my favorites:

    Caligula

    P2150217.jpg
    Julia Titi

    P2150211.jpg
    Germanicus

    P2150209.jpg
    Antonia II

    P2150216.jpg
    Titus

    P2150202.jpg
    Agrippina II

    P2150204.jpg
    Livia

    P2150219.jpg
    Flavia Domitilla

Marcus Aurelius, Antoninus Pius, Faustina II, Antinous...

And yes, they do have coins! Here is a part of their portrait gallery of Sestertii - I would have a need for that Julia Paula, Aquilia Severa, Paulina, and Gordian II in my collection :) :

On my next trip to the north I´ll make sure to bring more time...

It’s a fabulous museum. I love the building as well as the collection. Just the right scale, too.

I'd love to go to that museum! But there's not much else drawing me to Copenhagen..
