I think this is a nice addition Ryan, congratulations. It seems to be the same variety as the first two?

I am still missing one for my colonial collection.

One of my favorite colonials Ryan. The image of the elephant is very appealing.Like TheNoost says, nice herd. Congrats!

Ryan, this elephant token recently went unsold in a local auction. It did not meet the min. bid of 200 Euros ($ 320 inc. commisions). I was considering it, but the reverse seems very weak. I think it is the same variety as the ones you have?
What is your opinion as our local expert in Elephant Tokens. Is this coin Worth it at this price, given its condition?

    Hi Eduard,

I personally wouldn't pay higher than $250 for that piece, mainly because of the scratches it has to the surfaces. But if it were my first piece, I might extend it a little further. I think $320 is a little too much, but I would still consider it. It's hard to tell if the edges/rims of the coin are damaged or not, since it's in some sort of holder. The reverse's of these are almost always struck weak as you can see on mine so that's normal. The one you've presented has quite a bit of detail and no significant damage.

So overall, I would buy it but only for $250, but that's only because I have three.
