I mailed a package from Florida on Tuesday. USPS Tracking indicated that it would arrive in Michigan on Saturday. I checked the tracking, and the package arrived in Michigan okay, but they changed the delivery date to Tuesday of the following week. I guess that USPS employees in Michigan get Saturday and Monday off for the 4th of July. I wonder if USPS employees in Florida know about this?
In N.E. Tn. where I live, the PO was open till 1:00 PM. I just talked to my delivery guy and he said he'd be done around 4:00PM. Fed Ex guy not happy because he has to pull a double today, single tomorrow and a double on Monday and Tuesday. Said, what good are the hours if they don't give you time to spend the check.
