    If I was there I would have gone through that pile and picked out different dates and strained my eyes in the process.

    I recently saw a similar experiment where a couple dollars worth of pennies were randomly dropped on a NYC sidewalk. Surprisingly, no one bothered to pick any of them up.

    In another experiment a guy had a real Gold Eagle which he offered to sell to random passersby for $10. He got no takers.

    It seems people don't want free money.

    Probably Mark Dice. He has done that several times. I remember one where he tried to sell a $50 gold maple leaf for $50. And outside a coin store to boot. He told them they could walk in and sell it for over $1750 (at the time) and he still had no takers.,
