A PM got me to thinking about this actually. So here's a VERY small portion of my star note collection. Yeah, showing off a bit and bet many others have more. In the meantime here's some pics. Turned out rather large so be forewarned. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0012.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0013-2.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0014-2.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0015-1.jpg I know a lot of you love star notes but not all are rare. It's great if you run into them - I still do and I spend them as well. These are a small portion of what I kept over the years. I could not have possibly kept all that I saw so I bought some books and started choosing what I bought at face. I'll guarantee for every dollar I spend I let $50 in stars go back into circulation. First set is 1999 Atlanta District. Two CU consectuive. Retail at $85 each. Paid $2. Second is 1950E from San Francisco. Not a lovely note but $200 in CU. Wife found it for me. Worth the $5. Third is 11 consecutive 1995 Chicago notes. Retail at $35 each. I had 20 consecutive but sold a few. Paid face. Finally a 1969 Chicago note. Retails at $60 in CU. This one is borderline but worth the $10 I paid. Hope you enjoy them, look to learn about them and keep asking questions. Buy the books too folks! clembo
