I am truly sorry to announce that our dear friend Clinker is no longer with us. For me, he was and always will be the most honored member this forum ever had. Even disabled to the point that he could only use 1 finger for the last few years, he was tireless in his efforts to continue writing his informative, educational, and well researched articles and posts for the other members of this forum. Clinker never did a thing for himself, he did every bit of it, every word of it, for you. He will be sorely missed. There will never be another like him. If anyone would like to contact his family, send me a PM and I will provide a private email address.
Oh my, this is a shock. I always made it a point to read his threads and reply when I learned something new. He was one of the first to make me feel welcome here when I joined. He will be missed.
Very sad indeed. Truly a loss to the coin community. My prayers for his family and friends. He will be missed. God bless.
That's sad news. I will always remember his informative post... Even a know-it-all like me learned from Clinker. He will be missed.
I didn't know Clinker personally, but always enjoyed and learned a lot from his posts. My sincere heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
Yes I agree its a terrible loss. I did not even know he was ill or to the point of only having a finger to use. I always enjoyed his threads, and valued his input here. Chris
That's sad to hear, Doug. I, as a lot of us, here, I'm sure, only knew him through his presence on these forums. He was a bright spot. My sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
I'm terribly saddened to learn of his passing Doug. I will miss his presence on this forum......we'll all miss his presence on this forum. Rest in peace dear fellow.
It's hard to find the right words to express the sense of loss we all share without his presence on these forums. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. Chris
His threads will live ON with informative valuable information, but he will be missed greatly. I you reread a Clinker thread, post a short reply so maybe a new member will see the recent post and get to read the thread.
