Just want to verify what I have here. Can you tell me which reverse of the 1878 these two coins are? They both appear to be a little concave in the chest of the eagle. Thanks!!!
Hi. On the first coin up, have you noticed that the fourth star on the right of obverse is broken ? Also the word LIBERTY seems doubled, in addition to the upper lip of Miss Liberty. You would better check this on the site of VAMworld, if you like. Good Luck.. Charles

Here are some closeup shots of the star, liberty and lip. I do see the broken star but don't see doubling in the liberty or lip.
Like some others have noticed , parallel feathers is the easiest way I remember 2nd reverse , also the concave breast which can be worn down on low grade examples .
