Hi everyone. I am trying to research this fractional 50 cent note I found in a desk at work.

The regular note features Abraham Lincoln on the obverse and a green reverse.

I also found a note with the reverse printed on both sides and was wondering if this was normal or even known. I can’t find any reference that mentions one.

    can anyone offer some insight?

The Lincoln is fourth issue fifty cent postage currency. There are two versions of this issue. One with a watermark, and one without. All known notes are watermarked. They were printed in sheets or 12 notes. In fine condition it is worth about $100 (my estimate).

Don't know anything about the one with the back printed on both sides, sounds like an error in the printing run.

A good choice, most fractional currency wax
cut and trimmed with scissors and with out
much regard for centering but your seems
really good, please keep us updated when
    you get the results.
