My birthday isn't here yet, but I know what one of my work presents will be. A friend at work chose very well (I gave her a small list of Philip Antoninianii, instead of her having to trawl through c. 40 of them) and she ended up choosing one of the two best ones). I cheated and peeked at the sold coins, so I knew which one it was. That way I can order the other favorite before it potentially sells. Hooray! That's a lot better than a shirt. I'm looking forward to getting it. That's funny, my birthday was today and my daughter is in Greece and asked what to get me. I said an inexpensive ancient coin, but retracted the request because she has no idea how to ID a fake or a reputable seller over there. That seems like a wonderful coworker gift!
Greece is notoriously anti-coin. It would be impossible to legally get a coin or antiquity out of there.
