I thought that with new members signing on, we could give a few good places for them to visit.

This is the site for the ANA. They offer many good things with their memberships.

While not perfect, the ANA allows each member access to their library, for the cost of postage. You also receive a monthly magazine. A little behind the news, but still a nice benefit.

The ANA has a wonderful educational department, books and videos on grading, and a pretty good arbitration department, should the need ever arise.
They also have a list of dealers both online and off.
    They list various coin clubs.
Provide links to other numismatic sites.

    It is worth checking out.

I would like others to join in this post if you have other sites or organizations that provide education for newcomers.

I totally agree on the value of the ANA. I find that between the magazine and the library, I really get my money's worth.

The educational stuff is outstanding. I was fortunate enough to attend the ANA Coins in the Classroom Seminar over Christmas break. It was outstanding.

That is so fantastic. Our firm does this in classrooms around Delaware. We get such a great response from the kids. The mint has a great little coins in the classroom section on their site

Click on the hip pocket change.

All of my staff and I have completed the ANA grading seminars. This is highly recommended.

I started a new sticky thread with all of the helpful links that I could come up with.
Please add any to that thread that you think would be helpful.
