I have recently run across an enormous amount of high grade, good looking, non reproced steel cents, like this one: So many in fact it is to the point that I can buy them at less than a buck a piece even though they may be MS64,65,66 or higher. I'm at a loss why so many should appear so quickly, and why they are going for so little.
I am seeing them all the time also. I even offered 22 of the same quality to a friend for 10 dollars for all. I have been seeing the price droppng on ebay and also in inperson auctions. They did mint 684,628,670 of them (and thats just the P's) and who knows how many older folks saved them when they first came out. They may be just be getting back into circulation due to estate sales and the like.
