OK.. was at the coin shop yesterday looking for some nickles to fill holes in my set. I am now down to the 1925 Canada 5 cent to have all the post 1921 nickels. I also picked up a nice 1920 and 1919 for 2 bucks each. Both are graded VG so i think i got a good deal. I decided after listening to some people here to focus of one or two projects at a time.

I have been a fan of the Canada large cents since the day I bought by first one. I have decided to focus on a collection of once cent coins. I am almost complete with my Canada one cent ( I need 1858, 1892, 1894, 1922, 1923) And am going to start collecting USA one cents. I am also going to work on the British one cent coins from 1901 to present ( and earlier if i can get my hands on any)

I figure i would rather spend money on older coins than spending 6-8 dollars for a early 1960's quarter.

I went to the bank here and got 10.00 worth of pennies and found 83 USA pennies including a 2011 and 2010 ( i like the new design)

    Any thought, comments, pointers?

Sounds like some good goals. You will probably find the the Lincolns to be the toughest of that group with the early key dates being very expensive. Once you finish the British pennies back to 1901 you will probably want to extend them on back to 1860 and the first of the light weight large pennies. Even that will not be too difficult. Harder to locate them than to afford them unless you want them in high grade.
