"A" on side of 1941 nickel near America

Curious if this is something or just my imagination. The A in America is messed up and on the edge is another "A" IMO. Could it be and would this be of any value? PS I am holding it between my fingers even though it may not look that way!

Okay, just thought the last photo shows a pretty well defined "A" . Subjective, but you're probably correct!

That coin took a small but hard enough hit to move the metal just enough to play with one’s imagination. PMD

 

Your specimen took a hit which damaged the coin and messed up the device (letter A). Many years of service and part of the hazards of being a coin.

 

I didnt try to do all those photos. I thought i only hit 5, dont know how they got there and i didnt know how to get rid of them Novice here!

Well, I don’t know. I cropped it, and that sure looks like an A on the side to me, a
little skinny one. But then that shouldn’t make a difference. Maybe you really are rich, but just don’t know it. I never seen an A on the side of a coin like this, even a little skinny A. Especially on the side of a nickel. And I seen many nickels.
