    Well guy's.....
    I am at it again.....LOL

I just picked up this NY National in Gem 66. I have been looking at the Jupiter Collection and had to satisfy my note envy a little. I did not spend near as much on this note as some of those are worth...so perhaps we could call it the Uranus effect......LOL

Anyway...I hope you enjoy this one and I will post better images when it arrives......

    Regards,

Thanks Darryl and Tater...it was an unexpected event that brought this note to me....I used some of the $$$$ set aside for the note I am planning on getting in December or maybe sooner...time and $$$ will tell...

It will be splendid and a lofty addition to the collection...

    Best regards to you both!!

Geez alou man, I nearly shorted out my keyboard in a waterfall of drool. I've got to say I don't do many notes, but you have got a knack for some of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

The Jupiter collection even depresses me, there are single notes that have estimates worth more than my whole miserly collection. I sure would like that 1869 LT $50, that is a gorgeous note and it has Lincoln on it too.

RickieB, how about John Pittman pretty much an average Joe that worked for Kodak and he assembled a major coin collection. He new what type of coins to look for and also took a gamble when it was necessary. Pittman took out a second mortgage on his home just so he could bid on the King Farouk action. His collection sold in the late 1990's for about 35 million $$$$$. If you keep buying the quality notes that your are buying for your NY collection someday collectors may be saying...It is just incredible what RickieB has accomplished!! Great looking note RickieB. ;)
