Bid in two auctions, one in USA, one in UK for same coin. Both super grades. Won Stacksbowers...........High mintage but few in such condition I imagine. (just need to cancel my other bid: knowing this auction house, in the UK, no problem.)

Same coin just sold (lot 554) DNW in the UK for approx $1350 inc BP yesterday............that coin was described as practically as struck.....but now sure this one is far behind.

Very nice pickup. Congrats! Is your whole set in that high grade? Unfortunately I don't think it would make it into a slab because of the cheek damage (and if it is in a slab, then my opinion is that it was missed by the grader) Regardless, thats a very awesome Vicky. Thanks for sharing.

Not all my stuff is quite that high but nothing below AU50, and can be forgiven for that because it's a NFLD 1872H
50C, a stunner. Despite the small nik on the cheek, I actually like it more than lot 554 that DNW sold without any
such detractions. The toning and the overall character has appeal for me. Have a look at my album on CT.
