It is suggested that I post the pictures I have of the coin I found this morning. Please, comments are very welcomed.
Die pair #2 Second 2 stronger than the first, L in Liberty against the rim, strong reverse? That was a bag find? I'll look into it more tonight after dinner, YIKES !!!!!
I am still not convinced it isn't fake or altered. And, yes, it was in the first bag of the two I received '-------'. Dare I mention the name?? jeankay
Hold on Snaz You really need to have that looked at. The 2nd 2 is a little funny, but I am not EVEN going to make a call on this. If genuine? WOW Take it to Beymer when you get a chance.
You gotta be kidding... please say you are kidding. I have a feeling a certain someone would say it isn't real even if it is... But then, what do I have to lose either way... jeankay
I think it's altered or added, the 2 sits in a CW lean, it should not, and it just looks " off ". BUT, you will get an expert opinion from Jack Beymer, he is your closest pro and he has seen a zillion of these in hand. IF it is genuine, Budgood rocks cointalk again !!!! He has done it before yannow.
If that's from a budgood bag, I'm going to sell some of my coins to buy another one of his bags, LOL. I hope it's real jeankay, good luck! :thumb: Phoenix
It looks jsut like this one to me. BTW, this one was XF-40 from Heritage (PCGS). I hope, think, I am correct. Congratulations!!
LOL, Just great !!! Now when I order bags, I'll be told " are you crazy" Im sold out again. Budgood has the best wheat bags on the planet, bar none. I'd say more, more often, but then he'd sell out alot quicker.
Rule#1. I never said you are crazy. Rule#2. If anyone here says you are they can refer to Rule#1. The second 2 is my concern. But seeing rlm's coin, and it being registered, well I am beginning to think more positive in that direction. Wait until tomorrow, it will probably be voted out. jeankay
Yes, that would be awesome !!!! JeanKay, I really would take that to Beymer for an opinion, we are dying to know !!!
The 22 is definetely Die Pair 2, check the die markers in the Lange book. I feel 100% that it is legit.
WOW!!!!! Thats nuts. I asked BudGood to save me a bag last week and I just now finally paid him for it. Maybe Ill offer him more money to ship it ASAP!!!!! Congrats and good luck on your find.
