Found this 1971 D Kennedy half about a year ago. Noticed the misaligned die was pretty nice. You can actually see a little reeding on the inner rim at the top. I think I read on here that MAD's don't really command any premium until it starts to affect the design or letters/numbers. Would this one have any extra value with the nice double rim and reeding at the top? I know coins like this are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I am just wondering if this is common, or if it's enough to catch some attention?

I have searched through tens of thousands of Kennedy Half Dollars and never found one of these. Never.

Large coins (i.e. Half Dollar and Dollar) do command a premium over face value but the premium is directly related to the coins state of preservation and the degree of die misalignment.

Was looking on www.error-ref.com. It said that they were pretty common for early-mid 70's Kennedys. It said anything 5% off center or more is a lot rarer and commanded a nice premium.
