OK as some of you know I have forgotten a lot about why I was keeping some of these coins I have. And having to relearn pretty much all the terms you folks use for coins and errors. So can anyone (PLEASE) Tell me why I have a crap load of Canadian nickels marked NICKEL??? And if you can Are they keepers or should I send them off to a friend in Canada who sends me circulated RCM Novelties like Loonies Toonies and such?
I am like a kid in a candy store going through this strong box. Some things I say to myself Huuuuuuh??? And others WOW!!! Nothing really worth much I guess. I guess I really liked ( Nickels) I guess. have bags and bags of older US ones and older Canadian as well.
Some older Canadian coins can be worth money, check out this: http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php There are some VERY valuable varieties, Canadian cents and nickels. Generally, I would send most of them to your friend, they are worthless here.
Now if you ever visit Canada you can use them to buy 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda! Oh wait.. Do they even have pizza in Canada? Do they eat it like us USA citizens do? I don't know
Yes they do!! I went to my first gentlemen's club around 1980 or so in Kingston, And after that we found a place that had some of the best Pizza I have ever had. But I have been told to never eat at fast food joints. Something to do with all the missing horses!!
Pizza even way back in 1973 when I took a trip to Phillipsburg when I was 17. It was at a strip club a few miles away.
Sounds like a bummer and I hope you get better. Is your memory gone, or is it still there but fuzzy/selective? It may help to reread your old posts and threads.
Just kinda fuzzy for the last 5 or 6 years. When I look at certain things I can say yea I remember that but others I haven't a clue! The tough part is looking at error coins and seeing the abbreviation I had wrote down, And now having to learn them by searching posts and the site all over. And it does not seem like I can remember them very quickly. I can say looking at pics of the last 8 years has helped a lot.
