A little help in attribution

    I am having trouble in identifying this one. The price is OK if it is a N-3 but not so much for a N-8. Any help much appreciated.

    I think that's a Newcomb 8 variety.

    If you can't see the file marks in the die that Newcomb mentions, how else can you tell the difference?
