Ok, so it turns out that taking good pics of coins is a little more difficult than I thought...lol The ones I took didn't come out very clear so here is a list of the coins I found in some old boxes of my dads. Any help on them would be great! Thanks 1936 Half Dollar, Commemorative (it has a pic of what looks to be a pilgrim and indian profiles on one side and the other a ship with Long Island 1936 written underneath the ship) 1857 Half Dime (now I could be wrong about the date, the little sucker is so small and my vision stinks evidently!) 1857 Half Dime (again, the date I am not 100% and also I think it is a half dime, it is the same size of the other one but has a star like design on one side and what looks like almost a heart like shape with roman numer numbers III inside that heart like design...It says United States Of America and is dated, but that is all I can read) 1838 Half Dime (I am sure about the date and cent worth on this one, I could read it ) 1903 I have no clue as to the cent worth, but this one has an eagle on a flag like design on one side and on the other, a chick who is walking and it looks like she is blindfolded... I know nothing about coins, please ignore the awful descriptions...lol 1865 Two-Cent Piece 1818 & 1837 Large Cents (One Cent, I think... I can hardly read anything on these, so I am just going by the little coin envelope thingy they were in and what was written on that.) Indian Heads 1881,1888,1897,1907,1909,1939 There is also a little book thing that has a bunch of Lincoln Head Cents in it... The book starts at 1909 - 1943... some slots have a penny in them, some don't. If the dates need to be listed, just tell me. Ok, the rest of the coins are french and german, I think. I am not sure... but my eyes hurt so I shall let them rest for now...lol Thanks for anyone who can help.
Howdy tmoyer - Welcome to the Forum !! Tell ya what, go to this link - CLICK HERE and use it to help you identify your coins. Then you need to work on the pics - use a scanner, or try a digital camera with a Macro feature for the closeups. There's just no way to help establish value without seeing the coins.
