A Kennedy Struck Thru

    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    A NGC graded PF-68 Ultra Cameo 2001-S Silver Kennedy Half Dollar. The coin is great and very reflective but the holder has a few minor scratches which makes it difficult to capture on my cell phone camera.

    The main strike thru is at the B in LIBERTY, at 11:00. There is also a small struck thru just to the bottom left of the 2 in the date. It’s at 7:00.

    They took the time to create perfect rims, highly polished dies and a double strike for a perfect finish. Sadly, the position of Quality control Inspector doesn't appear to have been filled. LOL

    Not sure but that’s why I bought it. Not as common as other strike thrus. And the price was low enough.
