I've always wanted an example of this elusive DIVO Titus reverse type. Depictions of the Divine Titus on the coinage are extremely rare during the Flavian era, especially those showing him in full military dress. When this Judaean example showed up on eBay a couple of months ago, I couldn't hit the "buy now" button fast enough! Most of these come in a fairly worn state because of poor metal quality. The Roman colony of Caesaera Maritima in Judaea struck a series of bronze coins under Domitian with Latin legends. This divus Titus type was struck early in Domitian's reign soon after Titus' death. Titus is depicted in full military attire, a reminder of his commanding role during the Jewish War. An extremely rare type. Struck on a thick flan.
