A Jefferson Nickel with a Fantastic Strike

    I purchased this Jefferson Nickel last week from Heritage for a very reasonable $70. Look at the strike on this baby. I have shown the Heritage photos as well as my own photo of the reverse below. Let me know what you think!

    That is a pretty coin. I have no idea of the Market but that is a way above average example of Jefs I've seen and the Obverse head is really nice. The hair is separated clearly from the forehead. I see no rim dents and the surface looks unbroken except maybe the slightest bit in front of the nose. And it is an MS...very nice.

    Nice coin. and certainly a better struck example than most. Quite a find :thumb:

    Now find one where even the detail of the portico is there ;)

    Very beautiful coin, you did quite well IMHO!! :thumb: (Even though I don't know it's value, I think it's a pretty sweet coin. :thumb:)
