Won this at an auction a few months ago, finally got around to taking some photos. I really like the patina, and the history, with it being a Carson City piece. Mintage about 133,300.

CoinCorgi Tell your dog I said hi!

That's a nice looking specimen. What's the grade, or are you doing a GTG?

This is the VF20 1875-S (mintage about 10x your CC at 1,155,000) that I have in my type set...

I was always drawn to the odd denomination coins. Been beating my head against the wall trying to finish out a three cent nickel set..... I give @ksparrow a VF25 and @CoinCorgi F15.

NGC graded mine a F12. Maybe netted down some for the dents on the eagle.

Looks like one I just bought on a whim at a local auction. They had one by itself, and another as part of a "Odd denomination set", so I bought the set. The 20 cent piece was the only non-XF piece of the set.

For some reason, I always kind of like the odd denominations like @Randy Abercrombie , not to the extent of collecting entire sets though. I just find them interesting. I also kind of always liked fractional currency, but again not enough to get serious about it, (I have ways too many other collections going, most of them involving ancients).

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I'm not a fan of the corrosion spot in the right obverse field, and I'm not a fan of the scratch that Treashunt mentioned on the reverse... but the rest of the coin looks really nice.

If you could find one with that color without the problems, she'd be a real winner.
