While in the market for an inexpensive macro camera I found this neat little gadget! I needed something to take close up pics of coin edges, which this is perfect for. Im a good coin collector, but a photographer...not so much. I usually use a flatbed scanner...which btw is horrible for slabbed coins. I loved this little lens so much I bought 100 of them! Whenever I see crappy pictures of cool errors on ebay, I tell them about the lens. Ive literally made thousands because of this cheap little lens! It may not be the best macro lens but for somebody on a budget, who only owns a camera phone, its perfect!
Thank you, Hobo, for the best laugh so far today. Will you tell us where to buy, HS, or must we buy from you?
Yeah the pic is blurry. I dont own a camera. Only a cellphone camera. You can buy them from china for less, but it will take a month to get to you. Its great for extreme closeups All taken on a crappy old cell phone camera compare these to the blurry out of focus picture of the lens itself! Not bad for $10 free shipping
Just thought Id let CT know that theres a cheap macro lens available that attaches to common cell phones. If anyone wants to buy 1 they dont have to do it through me. Im not giving out my website or anything.
OK, so three posts and no info on where to buy. Are we having fun yet? How long will you be yanking our chain with this?
A quick ebay search isnt that hard to do. If anybody wants one fast, then just pm me. CT does not allow me to sell in this thread.
A buddy of mine picked on like that on but it larger & has a stand that goes with it. I think he payed about $20.00 for it .there a lot out there now and 90% work great.and don't but a hurt on the wallet . :kewl:
Disederata, continued. Some more of the same: Speak your truth quietly and clearly, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, for they are vexations to the spirit. Remember what peace there may be in silence: without surrender be on good terms with all persons. You are a child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Purportedly this was found in some church. However, I think God may have just jotted it down and left it about for us all. This is all I remember from this, but it stuck with me from the 70's. There was some learning back then after all, I guess.
