Hey all, just recently bought this flexible mini tripod on amazon for under $20 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RYKG2BF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has a 360 degree rotating ball head on the top for any angle you want, I really like it so far for taking good steady pics of coins, it has a phone attachment that comes with it as well as a spot for a digital camera.
Also (this is really nice) it comes with a remote to take the pics with that uses bluetooth pairing... Makes it so there is none of the slight jiggle that you get when you hit the camera button on your phone... really nice. For under $20, I'm really happy with it and my setup is a lot better with it than it was before ;) I would strongly recommend it to anybody else who's been using setups of soda cans, stacks of books, etc... 20210412_213241.jpg ;):p 20210412_213211.jpg

I had a similar item, it was ok for a phone but the weight of a DSLR was too much. After 5 months the ball joint became loose in it's socket.
There is no camera shake on a phone if it is on a stable base and you set the timer to a couple of seconds

Are those legs flexible so the height can be adjusted (like a gooseneck lamp)?

Yes they are very flexible, I can bend them almost into a full circle or have them completely straight like a standard tripod
