Don't even know where to begin except a comfortable chair. Almost 14 lbs. In two hand full pulled a few as low as 1911.
I don't have a memory card big enough, lol. It will take me awhile to get to these I may pass them along as a whole.
Go through 'em, there isn't that many! Wont take more than a couple hours, if I can get through a 5k bag in 3 hours sorting by date...
I know im just amazed someone actually had that many wheats hiding in an old bag still. I was meaning no time today.
It's probably not an old bag, I've bought bags that produced lots of older dates and even IHC's... dealers sometimes just dump rolls into bags to resell for a profit because they don't want to be bothered going through them for something that MIGHT be there.
I found 2 IHC and a 1923 Dime in the 2 hand fulls I pulled last night. That Bank went under in mid 80's I found out.
You might always be surprised, too... I pulled an AU '24-S out of my last bag... Figured, hey maybe a $20 coin, checked it out on NumisMedia and had to pick my jaw up off the floor.
That is awesome! Coincindentally, I just picked up two hoards not ten minutes ago. One of 10,000 mixed cents (Canada and U.S.) and 5,000 wheats.
I've been itching for another 5k bag to go through after that last bag, which was awesome... there was a ton of nice '55-S's out of there as well, nearly a rolls worth. Sorry, I totally hijacked this thread. I love wheat bags, haha.
Remember I using a camera phone for these shots and will take some better pics later. These are the ones I just thougt looked cool out of the 2 hands I pulled last night and I brought them with me today to look at to pass time.
