I bought a couple of rolls of "unsearched wheat cents" from ebay. I went through them(yes, they did at least *seem* genuine--I found an 1874 IH cent in one roll- 5 total from two rolls), and I found a few cents that looks a bit odd.1958-D: MD or something else? the 1 is not showing any "shelving" when viewed in hand, the 9, however, is. Image147.jpg on this 1944-D cent, there appears to be a planchet error. under magnification, it looks like the 4 was truck into an already existing gap in the blank, rather than something striking the area... or is this clearly pmd? Image156.jpg Image157.jpg is this a d/s or an rpm? Image161.jpg Image166.jpg

You might want to take some different photos of the 52-D. It is close to what is shown for what Crawford called a D/S, ut what others say is a D/D, but it is not exact enough in the photo to be positive, just a maybe as the true variety's secondary ( lower) is more rounded and even, front and back, whereas yours is more uneven and projecting at the lower left.
