Hi all! I just thought I'd share a couple of unusual Gallienus coins that came today from eBay. They are both in mediocre condition, but each of these were less than £10! GALLIENVS AVG, radiate head left / PROVIDENTIA AVG, Mercury standing left, holding purse and caduceus. RIC 653 (var. no exergue). This coin is quite scarce with the bust left rather than right. It'll go nicely with my left facing Valerian GALLIENVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / VIRTVS AVG, Hercules standing right, leaning on club; SPQR in exergue. RIC V 671 var. (bust type). Cyzicus mint This is my first SPQR coin of Gallienus (my other two SPQR in exergue coins are of Claudius II). This coin actually also came with 5 miscellaneous provincial coins, which I'll hopefully be able to resell to get my money back for both of these coins Show me some of your Gallienus coins!
