    Thought you all might like to see these, I dont have many but my Celtic collection is slowly growing :smile will be getting thes written up shortly and put into 2x2 :thumb:

    The largest looks familiar, I've seen other's like it. I've heard Vercingetorix (sp) is on a roman issue but this one is not it. Darn, I can't recall? Perhaps the woad has worn from the coin, LOL :)

    It's Danubian a Imitation of Phillip III of Macidonia :D I do have a few more when I can find them all I will post some more pics LOL

    I have a small issue with the prancing horse on one side and a tree on the other. I purchased it in an antique store, it was advertised simply as an "Ancient European Coin" LOL :) I'll try to find a picture and post it today.

    Those are nice de Orc!!!
    The first one is a potin,cast together in sand in little breakaway lots of 10-12..thats what the strange stem is on it.Money on a stick,just snap one off whan you need some quick cash.It was the ancient credit card.

    Now that is a nice full one, I will manage to get myself one of those one day LOL, the Mrs let slip that she has bought me some Celtic from Chris Rudd for Xmas, so have those to look forwards to getting :thumb:
