I just started a thread in the World Coins forum about a jar of mostly coins that a neighbor gave me from their decades of world travel for my grandson who may be into coin collecting. The jar also contains a few bills that were mostly kinda badly treated, wadded up and torn. In any case, I took some photos and uploaded them to this One Drive folder. https://1drv.ms/f/s!ArBLbKVM2K_H06Npxwsc3RU1OWCXng?e=cPTF3E OneDrive can take some time to get fully synced, if all 8 photos are not there yet, they should be soon. I'd be interested in any opinions anyone has about this collection. After I saw the photos, I realized that I could have done a better job. There are several coins that have duplicates. I could have put them next to each other and shown both sides. If I get a minute tomorrow, I might redo the photos. Same with the bills. Thanks
Hello. Star notes are fun to collect but I only look for the better specimens and older notes. He's young so collecting now will get you the best investment and obviously things will increase over time, hopefully. Also, protecting them is a must. I have a special binder for currency with inserts. Here's a good link for just that. Currency Albums: Coin Collecting Supplies | Coin Collecting Accessories (wizardcoinsupply.com)
