I found this Delaware quarter which seems to be lamination or a possible planchet problem in the areas below the rim ,and most of the circumferance of the coin.

In my experiance with error coins this one seems a mystery to me. I'm pretty positive this is not postmint damage or it was due to a bubble gum machine or any machine for that matter.

I am kind of stumped with this one that's why I wanted to post this coin and get other expert opinions from the coin people here ..I hope my pic is alright to determine what the heck this is.

The picture is too grainy to see any details or lack thereof. Can a clearer one be posted?

Can I see the reverse? From what I see now, it just looks like a very worn quarter. All letters and image have a brighter appearance around the edges which to me indicates a worn coin. I think if it was missing a layer, then all images on that side would be the same color. JMO.

Looks like there was a collar problem but I really can't tell from that picture for sure.
