I think the Walking Liberty half is one of the best designs ever, and they keep looking good even when almost worn down to a disc! here are two from my early walker type set of circulated examples that I just photo'd today. Post yours too!

(the S mintmark looks strange in the photo, but is perfectly normal thru a loupe)

Yep, the Walking Liberty design is generally considered one of the best for US coins.
I've got a full set but didn't put any effort (and money) into it.
I wanted the best coin I could buy for under $100.
Obviously in a few cases I had to pay a bit more than that just to get a Good.
Your two look better than my two.

I enjoy the walker very much myself.... as for some worn ones, here's my contribution. :)

The ones above were bought for a grand total of $1.... One of my supervisors at work brought them in and let me have them for face value.... not exactly 1913 nickels, but I still think it was a good day..... :D

????????? Definitely wear, look at the color differences and lack of overall luster.

This was given to me by my grandma years back. Not the nicest but I will never get rid of it.

It qualifies for the thread, technically, if not in spirit. But as I said, it was the best I could do.

    Here's that 1933-S I mentioned.

Cropped using the "Snaz method" that he taught me. :D

I know what you mean Ox.... coins from people that are important to us can be some of the prettiest in a collection, no matter how they look. :)

As I am looking at these, is it just me or does the design of the Walker just keep its beauty no matter how much wear the coins sees? Most all of these have seen much better days, but they are still dang nice looking coins....
