Not quite sure what postcard countries are ;) but some nice coins there! The Vatican pieces show impersonations of virtues: L.1 Temperantia, L.2 Fortitudo, L.5 Iustitia, L.10 Prudentia - with more virtues on the higher denominations.

Thank you. Postcard countries or postage stamp countries are very tiny countries like Vatican City, San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg and Monaco. They have or had their own currencies and stamps.

Luxembourg seems to be sort of on the borderline - five times bigger than Andorra, the next smallest European country, but only one fifth the size of Kosovo, the next largest. Sort of like Pluto - too small to be a planet, to large to be an astroid.

Ah, thanks. A while ago we were taught the difference between impersonation and personification when it comes to acting (stage, movie) ... and I had and have a hard time understanding that. :)

In terms of population, Luxembourg is, hmm, a little bigger. In terms of area, the country used to be bigger; in fact there is also a province in Belgium called Luxembourg. Maybe we should size wise think in terms of Grand Fenwick ...:D
