These were picked up this weekend from a collector. All four coins were raw. All in envelopes. No idea how he came to own them.
So an ordinary collector decided to sell them. I think that's often the wisest thing to do. I mean, for a collector who has extras, or an entire collection, to offer them to a dealer. On another note, I met a very nice dealer in Greensboro, NC today. He had a huge inventory of collector-grade material. His prices were right, so I made an initial purchase. (four early-date Washington quarters) He threw in a 2004 P and D nickel as a thank you. I think I can see the beginings of a new business relationship.
