Recently discovered these two sawbucks in some money I withdrew from the bank:

The top is a new, series '09 $10. There is nothing special about it, other than being the first of the new series $10's, that I have found in circ. I have been wanting to find one, so that's why I saved it. It's a little bit wrinkled, though, so it will probably be replaced when I find one in better shape.

    Serial JA 05595045 A
    -----------------------------
The lower one is a series '04A star, with a print run of 1.9m (within the serial range it falls in). It is the third lowest print run, for the '04A San Fran, $10 stars, I believe. There are two runs that were really low (128K, and 512K, respectively) and one run that totaled 3.2m. This note falls in between the 512K run, and the 3.2m run.

It's pretty well circulated, but not a total rag.

    Serial: GL 10694536 *.
    ------------------------------

All in all, I'm pretty happy with them.

Very true. Plus, it's the first $10 star that I've found in circ, and it's one of the newer colorized notes, which I like. :D

Finding a star note in circulation is always a good thing.
Yours is from print run #4 (1,920,000) and looks to be in about VF20-25 range with an apparent ink stain at the upper left.
