A Couple of "Almost" Fancy Numbers (Canadian)

    Both of these banknotes were found in the till during the last couple of weeks.

    Even though these are almost fancy numbers (but not quite), I still managed to use them as traders for a couple of deals. The $5 has been swapped for $15 (face value) bag of Lincoln cents- all pre-1960. Just going through the bag, I've found a bunch from the teens and the '20's and '30's. A pretty good swap, I think.

    The $10 note is being traded for a 1937 $10 note.

  3. Nice finds! I love the serial number on the 10. That center fold is a shame though. Can't win them all

    Yeah, if they were in primo condition I would have hung onto them but the people who traded with me are small time collectors and these are a couple of good items to stir up their interest in paper money collecting.
